In-mould laminates

Polyester laminates of fiberglass are manufactured in negative moulds. This type of production is good for batch of products, even from few dozen pieces. In comparison with metal, laminates are characterized by light weight and easy possibility to create difficult shapes.

The production of an element begins with the preparation of an accurate model and then a negative mould is made. The finished product is performed by applying a gelcoat on the mould and then placing several layers of glass fiber with resin. We use gelcoats and resins from renowned manufacturers and they are available in all RAL colors. In these elements metal parts such as hinges, handles, fixing structures on other components can be placed. For big elements we use special light reinforcements.

A typical elements made in this technology are all kinds of covers, lids, boxes, tanks or bands for ice rinks.
